Senior Center Luncheons

is organizing this fundraiser.

Community Luncheons Each Week

MMOW invites active seniors to any or all of our community luncheons each week. Activities begin at 10:00 a.m. with coffee, snacks, dominoes, and card games. Bingo is scheduled at least once a month in each center. Lively conversation is always available.

MMOW’s senior center luncheons offer wholesome, balanced menus that vary from center to center. Although senior center meals do not provide strict medical diets, meals are usually served buffet style which enables participants to choose from the selections that best fit their dietary needs.

“When relocating here, my Mother worried, ‘How will I ever meet anyone? I don’t know anyone!’ and ‘What will I do with myself?’ Then she started going to the Senior Center, and from that came friends, information on local things, and connections in the community. Friendships were developed there that remain even today. Mother had her 80th birthday the year after she moved here and guess who we invited along with family and friends? Yes, some of the MMOW staff, the MMOW Senior Center Coordinator and of course, the wonderful friends that Mom had made there.”

– Ms. Lura’s daughter
