“When relocating here, my Mother worried, ‘How will I ever meet anyone? I don’t know anyone!’ and ‘What will I do with myself?’ Then she started going to the Senior Center, and from that came friends, information on local things, and connections in the community. Friendships were developed there that remain even today. Mother had her 80th birthday the year after she moved here and guess who we invited along with family and friends? Yes, some of the MMOW staff, the MMOW Senior Center Coordinator and of course, the wonderful friends that Mom had made there.”
